Sirius Black, a long-time prisoner of Azkaban and eventual escapee was, for almost twelve years, mistakenly believed to be a mass murderer responsible for the deaths of Harry Potter’s parents. But upon hearing the true story of that fateful night, Harry soon came to see Sirius as much more than just his Godfather.
